Greetings and thanks for visiting!

My name is Jen Borrow and I am a certified Forest Therapy guide through the Association for Nature and Forest Therapy (ANFT), with a Masters in Transpersonal Ecopsychology from Naropa University. Forest Therapy has deeply impacted me in mind, body and soul. I have witnessed first hand its impact on those I have guided. I cannot assume to know what medicine nature may have for someone during the walk. There is no prescribed outcome or a map for what “should” be experienced. Each person’s journey is unique. For me, Forest Therapy is a coming together of all that I have studied and learned over the years, into one practice. I am so honored to be able to offer this to others.

My deep love for nature goes back to my childhood.

Especially the many years spent with my favorite Maple and Willow trees. For me, the trees in my yard were a sacred place of solace. The trees chose me, just as much as I chose them. My ecological identity is inextricably linked to my connection to nature as a sanctuary, a place to find solace, peace and comfort in times of need and expression.

Connecting with Nature

I find forest therapy to be incredibly rewarding because I am able to slow down and tune in to each moment, into the now. I became a Forest Therapy guide so I can experience this reconnection with my community. I so looking forward to sharing this practice with you!
